Running Toward Resilience: How Sports Shaped My Journey
What’s your dream job?
Growing up, I was deeply inspired by the values I saw around me—discipline, perseverance, and the joy of striving for something meaningful. In school, I discovered a passion for sports, particularly sprinting. The exhilaration of running and the annual preparations for sports day were my favorite times of the year. They gave me a sense of freedom, focus, and determination. It was during those moments that I first dreamed of becoming a professional sportsperson.
As life unfolded, I found myself following a different path, one shaped by opportunities that taught me the importance of resilience and adaptability. My early experiences with sports had instilled in me the confidence to take on challenges, celebrate small victories, and work toward bigger goals. These qualities became the foundation for how I approach life and work today.
If I could choose again, my dream job would undoubtedly be that of a professional athlete. Sports inspires me in ways that are hard to put into words—it’s about pushing boundaries, embracing growth, and finding joy in every stride. While my career path took me away from the track, the lessons I learned from sports continue to guide me every step of the way.
