Write about a time when you didn’t take action but wish you had. What would you do differently?
In the early years of my career (2004–2007), being financially independent meant everything to me.
I was working continuous night shifts and was deeply focused on proving myself. The satisfaction of earning a monthly salary and doing well at work kept me going.
What I didn’t act on were the changes happening around me.
My routine had completely shifted — late-night meals, irregular schedules, constant fatigue. I noticed it, but I didn’t pause to question it because, at that time, achievement felt more important than anything else.
Looking back, that was a miss.
Not because I worked hard — but because I ignored the signals.
If I were to do it differently, I would pay attention earlier. I would take small actions to manage my health and routine instead of waiting for the realization to come much later.
That phase taught me something simple:
success is not just about reaching a point — it’s about sustaining it.
