How are you creative?

Creativity isn’t just about art
Creativity isn’t just about art; it’s about solving problems efficiently, and for me, it’s all about streamlining processes. Let me give you an example that blends my love for data and my everyday life.
Whether it’s a workflow at work or a recipe in the kitchen, I start by analyzing the sequence of steps involved—almost like building a flowchart in my mind. Recently, I tackled a cooking process: a dish that typically took 45 minutes to prepare. By reorganizing the steps, combining tasks, and using tools that multitask, I brought it down to 30 minutes. That’s a 33% time savings—a measurable impact.
In a similar way, at work, I once optimized a procurement process by automating data entry tasks. The result? We cut down manual input time by 40%, saving over 10 hours a week for the team. That’s not just time saved—it’s resources reallocated and stress reduced.
For me, creativity lies in this data-driven problem-solving. It’s about looking at patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and finding smarter ways to achieve outcomes. Creativity, in my view, is making processes both intuitive and impactful, whether it’s cooking dinner or improving a system at work.
